Winters Road To Recovery |

|
This page is completely dedicated to Ryan Winter
and his collarbone. Overall he has broken it three times, but this
year he has broken it twice. We need to raise money to buy some
calcium from the science lab and yeah, even cans of baked beans we can sell
for 30 cents to other school people would be much appreciated. The story so far..... The scene was set for the 3rds first game of 2004 and Ryan Winter was placed on a wing. He managed to get through 15 minutes of the season before being bumped and his collarbone snapped like a pencil. It took him the whole season to recover as he never played another game for the 3rds. Soccer makes people soft. He then started to try out for the firsts with early morning practice sessions on Wednesdays. He was going great....until.... On the 10th of September 2004, at around 1:20 pm he complained of back problems after being thrown to the ground gently by an unknown person (Andrew Newbery). He then realized no one was going to come over to kiss it better so he got up and then jumped straight into the ground head first, breaking his collarbone into tiny pieces. A combination of stupid ness and extremely brittle bones caused this tragedy, and it was only fair that we had a page to tell everyone just how he is doing. Now he's back and still studying hard. |
